In 2016 the Global Citizen Festival traveled to Mumbai, India for 70,000 attendees – India’s largest music festival. Coldplay and Jay-Z headlined the show that was broadcasted throughout the country. Demi Lovato, A.R. Rahman also performed during the 12-hour festival along with appearances by Indian film actors Shah Rukh Khan, Parineeti Chopra and Arjun Kapoor.
