To Kill A Mockingbird

To Kill A Mockingbird’s performance in February 2020 made history as the first Broadway production to ever play at New York City’s Madison Square Garden. The project, adapted by Aaron Sorkin from Harper Lee’s literary classic, brought students from across New York City’s five boroughs together for a free performance of Broadway’s best-selling play.

This wasn’t just Mockingbird on Broadway rebuilt into a larger venue. The set and scenic was reimagined for a 360-degree experience with audiences on all sides of the stage. One edge of that stage has a 100 x 40 foot-long courtroom with Finch’s porch on the other. Large IMAG screens were installed to capture the intimate moments in this vast arena.
